Glendive Family Dentistry believes that making your smile the best it can be will improve the quality of your life. It is our goal to be a partner with you in creating a beautiful healthy smile which builds confidence and improves your overall health.
At Glendive Family Dentistry, we believe that a firm foundation is needed upon which we can base recommendations for your dental health. Therefore, we will complete a thorough oral health and cancer screening dental examination during your initial appointment.
Preventive dentistry is the most important service we have to offer you. We will show you how to control your own dental health and maintain your beautiful smile. Preventive examinations on a regularly scheduled basis will give you the maximum opportunity for long-term dental health.
Luke was raised in Oregon, but is happy to call Glendive his home since 2011. He has wanted to be a dentist since he was 12. After serving a 2-year mission in Italy after high school, he played basketball for Western Oregon University, while earning his bachelor degree. Perhaps tired of the rainy days of Oregon, he headed south to sunny Arizona for dental school. He loves being able to get to know so many people in the community through dentistry. While oral health is his focus, he feels passionate about overall health through healthy living and nutrition. His free time is spent hiking, biking, or doing anything outdoors preferably with his 5 kids and wife in tow trying to keep up with his energy and enthusiasm.
Tammy Wilhelmi has been a part of the dental team at Glendive Family Dentistry as a registered Dental Hygienist for 15 years. Tammy graduated with an associate degree from North Dakota State College of Science in 1999 and a bachelor degree from Mankato State University in 2015. Along with her Dental hygiene degrees, Tammy graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN in 1993 with bachelors degrees in Social work and Psychology; which she says is very useful when working with patients that experience dental anxiety. Tammy considers the comfort and health of her patients as her first priority, while focusing on preventive dental therapy. Tammy's professional affiliations include being a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, North Dakota Dental Hygiene Association and Montana Dental Hygiene Association. Besides her love for her work and continued learning, Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, spending time outdoors doing an array of physical activities, and has a passion for singing and playing numerous musical instruments.
